Racer Profile: Craig MacDonald

Residence: Bangor, ME
2014 Racing Age: 43
Years Racing: 1
Day Job:  Dirty Rug Sucker & Monkey Trainer
Discipline(s):  XC, Technical Single Track & Endurance?
Bikes:  Trek Superfly Elite 100, Trek Rig Single Speed, Trek Fuel EX8, Trek Farley Fatty & Trek Madone 4.5 Road Bike
Strengths: Being in the wrong gear on a climb, doing inadvertent stoppies on my single speed and scaring the hell outta roadies when I'm invited on a group ride!
Weaknesses:  Ability to explain what gear I'm in, or was in…. Girls in cowboy boots with mini-skirts.
Favorite Trail:  Eye for an eye and All of the Bangor Bog
Favorite Races:  CBCC, Nordic Trail Fest & 12 Hrs of Bradbury
Pre Race Ritual:  Hydrating, eating light and getting a good nights sleep
Post Race Ritual:  Eating and drinking whatever the hell I want. Keep moving and try to stop rigamortis from setting in.

Wisdom:  Man who think he is Number One is next to nothing. Riding  mountain bike well is cross between performing fine ballet and engaging in hell of a bar fight! Never raise hands to angry child - it leave groin exposed.  You can't judge a book (cyclist) by it's cover (how he or she looks). Woman who dance while wearing jock strap have make believe ballroom.  Dog's are smarter than most humans…
